I am passionate about working collaboratively. Collaborative working is key in my daily work with the Dartmouth Wellness Court but is also crucial in sharing knowledge, learning from others and working together towards the future.
I have a wealth of experience in working collaboratively and would be very happy to discuss any new opportunities.
The Covid pandemic allowed much greater use of technology which broadened my horizons in collaborative working and led to my being involved in several new projects around the world.
One example of a recent project has been working with the Law Society of Scotland on the Trauma Informed Lawyer Certificate course. The use of technology has enabled an almost seemless ability to work collaboratively across an ocean. It has also meant that when investment is made into face-to-face meeting, the time is much more productive.
Another example of colloborative work I am doing is with the Canadian Mental Health Association (National). I am the Chairperson for the Divisional Agreements Working Group. The aim of this group is to streamline the various provincial and territorial licensing agreements across Canada. This is a project that has been decades in the making and it is very exciting to see that the end is in sight and that CMHA will as a result be a much more cohesive, national organization in the future.
I have experience collaborating with governments, non-profit organizations, businesses and academic institutions and I look forward to many more opportunities.
